Checklist & Invitation
“Prior to the Party” to ensure all goes smoothly, we have prepared a Pop Idol Party checklist.
Invite your friends: You can download this invitation template and customize with your own pictures and words to print.
Backing Tracks: Download and review the song list here and let us know your selection in advance or if you have something specific in mind that you would like to record that is not on the list, let us know and we can discuss other options.
Lyrics: It is best if your party group is well versed with the lyrics of the song/s you have selected and it’s a good idea to send out lyrics with the party invitation. Contact us and we can provide them in advance of the party, otherwise You can also find lyrics via “Google” search – just type in the “Song Name”….(space)…”Artists Name”…(space)…then…”Lyrics”.
Soloists: (By prior arrangement) Give some thought to party guests, talents ahead of time and advise us if you feel it is appropriate to feature particular soloists, duets or trios.
Pop Idol Paparazzi Photo Session: To enhance this activity and build the party theme, you may want to invite guests to come dressed as their favourite Pop Stars. The more outrageous and colourful the children look, the better the cover of the CD will be.
Pop Idol Autographs: Personalizing the back CD covers is a fun and creative part of the Pop Idol Party. Kids may simply like to play pop-stars signing autographs and writing messages on the CD covers or others might want to get very creative with decorating these back covers.
You will need to have plenty of pens and/or coloured markers on hand for this activity and if so desired, sparkles and stickers etc. so that the kids can get creative.
Group and CD Names: It is also a good idea to think up a creative Group name and an Album name for the CD cover. Please let us know these names three days before the party date as they will be printed onto the Back Covers we bring on the day for the autograph session.
And for the finale…. You can look forward to receiving your professionally recorded CD complete with full colour cover for each party guest usually a week to ten days after the party.
