Marching into April

It has been an amazing beginning to this year and a wonderful March for me. My son Ryleigh has been learning all things Pop Idol Parties for the past 11 months and is out there in the world running parties with and without me.

As a father I feel very proud to have him working with me and watch him bringing the same joy to children with the parties as I’ve been able to bring for the past six years. The thing is he creates the artwork better than I ever have and is getting very proficient around the mixing console in the week following the parties.

I thank all the people that welcome us into their homes and enjoy the experience that WE share with you. It’s as special for us as it is for your children and their friends.

Pop Idol Parties

After six years of building a small business it still feels like I’m putting something worthwhile into the community. Just to see the look on some kids faces when they hear themselves singing or the look of delite on their faces when they receive the CDs in the post of the finished result of a party. It makes it all so special.

It’s not something I get to see very often and so every now and then I’ll do a special drop off if I’m going past their suburb or not too far out of the way,  just to see the reaction of the birthday boy or girl to their CDs.

The kids actually work for the result they get and that’s what makes it that more precious to them. It’s not just handed to them on a platter. They understand and appreciate the value of learning something new especially when it’s involved with something they love…music.
