About Us

John created the Pop Idol Parties concept in 2002. It spawned from school holiday Music Production Workshops that he ran as a fun and educational activity for Sydney kids. It was incredibly popular with bookings up to a year in advance.

As the parties matured from humble beginnings, state of the art computer technology introduced, higher quality studio microphones procured, professional cameras and software programs to create a better product with a faster turnaround time were upgraded, the parties morphed into a slick and very professional operation.

Six years later, enter John’s 20 year old son Ryleigh. Eager to learn all the camera operations, photoshop program, printing, cutting, posting, recording, mixing, CD duplication not to mention the social skills to embrace working with children to help them have fun while having to learn and perform to songs AKA karaoke style (with the twist of recording).

It was at this point that John realised just how much information and skills to operate this business had been learned along the way. 

Ryleigh first took over the artwork, then continued learning all the skills that he now enjoys each weekend working with each very different group of young budding Pop Idols.
